LAW ENFORCEMENT
The 1998-99 school year marked a major change in the Law
Enforcement/Criminal Justice classes at the Lee County Vocational Technical
School. Instructors for this year are Lee County Sheriff Deputies, Sgt.
Mike Reynolds, Cpl.
Jimmy Woodard, and Deputy
Richard Garrett. They are provided through a cooperative program between
the Lee County Board of Education and Sheriff Gary Parsons. All three are
active instructors on the professional staff at Thomas Walker High School
and Lee County Vocational Technical School as well as full time Lee County
Deputies. This year fifteen students experience a variety of hands-on training.
The class also includes text work, discussions, guest speakers, demonstrations,
and field trips. For more information contact the guidance department at
either school.
