Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
A white hawser bolt on blue. Adopted: 14 July 1989. Designer: Jarle E.
Henriksen.
I am not sure I have translated the name of the device right. The thing is

Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
A white spiral on blue. Adopted: 12 September 1986. Designer: Arvid Sveen.
The spiral represents the strong tidal current called Moskenesstraumen. The
drawing is less than perfect because the spiral is difficult to draw.
Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
Three black cormorants on white. Adopted: 28 November 1986. Designer: Arvid Sveen.
Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
(Varoy: a and first e combined, slash over second o)
A white puffin on blue. Adopted: 7 October 1988. Designer: John Digernes.
In some renderings, the puffin is armed red. I don't know whether that
version is used on the flag, I decided to use the simplest possible drawing
(in accordance with the definition).
Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
A white codfish on blue. Adopted 30 March 1973. Designer: Hallvard Traetteberg.
Jan Oskar Engene, 1996-AUG-06
(Vestvagoy: ring over a, slash over o)
Two white stockfish on blue. Adopted: 7 September 1984. Designer: Kjell
Kvivesen.
