The Dutch municipal of Baarle-Nassau has, like most Dutch municipales, it's own flag: red/white (from the old arms) and blue/yellow (from the new arms). This flag was adopted 20 August 1965, and was designed by the well-known Dutch (Frisian) vexillologist Klaes Sierksma.

There is an enclave of Belgium in the South central Netherlands. This enclave is called Baarle-Hertog. But in fact there isn't just one enclave in this tiny area, there are lots lots lots of them here. There are Dutch enclaves in Belgian enclaves which are themselves on the Dutch territory. Brief, a Macedonian salad as we say in French. Consider that there are two mains enclaves:Baarle-Hertog and Baarle-Nassau, namely Belgium and Netherlands. If you want to have more information, I suggest you to have a look in the Winkler Prins encyclopedie, at the articles Baarle-Hertog and -Nassau. I have copied a little map of the town, where there are very tiny enclaves, just the place to put a flag. This encyclopaedia is in Dutch.

Because some enclaves are very tiny (there are boundries across houses!) they found a way to identify where the Belgian and Dutch parts are. Next to every frontdoor there is painted a litlle.... (yes).... flag! If the frontdoor is on Belgian territory the flag is a Belgian tricolour, and if the frontdoor is on Dutch territory the flag is the Dutch tricolour.
