The flag is white with a red saltire.Above this saltire appear the arms of Jersey.

The arms of Jersey are gules three lions passant guardant. The Lt.-Governor flies a Union Jack with the shield of arms on a white disc surrounded by a garland in the centre of the flag.

Jersey uses the plain Red Ensign of the United Kingdom as its ensign.
