The Flag Bulletin reported the flag of Aran, a territory administered by Catalonia, but inhabited by the Aranese Gascon people (the first references to the Aranese are available, in Spanish, in my book "Navarra y Pamplona hasta el 905." The flag is horizontal blue, white and green. I have friends and family that I visit in the area, and my father lived there for some years. The flags are rarely seen. Last year on 11 September (the national day of Catalonia), more "senyeres" (Catalan flags) were displayed on the balconies and in the windows of Vielha (the Aran capital), but not the supposed autonomist flag. It is possible that this flag exists, but is supported by a small minority rule. The regional logo-flag of Aran (with inscription in Aranese) is available on my pages. This logo are used sometimes like a flag but really the official regional flag isn't approved yet.
