The flag of Amapa contains an important part of green (that form a triangle together to the shaft and is extended as a horizontal band in the center, that represents the jungle of the State, within the one which is located what I believe that it is the indigenous symbol of the four arrows that represent to the four cardinal points; the green part this fimbreated of white by the hope in the future; the blue represents to the sky and the rivers of the State, and the yellow, as in the national flag, symbolizes the gold. The flag was adopted little before the territory was converted into a State.
