The Flag of Herzeg-Bosnia

Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosna (Hrvatska Republika Herceg-Bosna, HRHB) was formed in parts of Bosnia & Herzegovina (B&H;) held by Croatian Defense Council (Hrvatsko Vijece Obrane, Bosnian Croats Army), as a temporarily government in B&H.; HRHB by Wash ington treaties became a part of Federation of Bosnia & Hercegovina by joining with Bosnian Muslim held territories. By these treaties HRHB is not going to function as a separate entity. However, in last 3 years it has and it still does, using the flag sh own here:

red, white and blue horizontal tricolor, with the coat of arms of HRHB.
Coat of arms is red-silver checquy 5x5 field in german-typed shield, bordered with gold. At top there is a gold wattle in silver.
Similarity to the Croatian flag is obvious. Wattle is so called three-wattle (in Croatian: troplet), very frequent motive in Croatian handcraft and art, especially in middle age, unmistakable symbol of Croatians.
The flag is used all over the B&H; where there is Croats majority, and as far as now it is not likable that it will be substituted by any joined Bosnian and Croat flag. However, it is probable that even than it will stay as a flag of Croatian nationality i n B&H.;
