Imaginary flag

Historical/Geographical: The Ross Dependency is that slice of the Antarctic continent over which New Zealand claims jurisdiction, and it stretches from 160 degrees east to 15 degrees west of the Greenwich meridian. Its biggest geographical feature is the massive Ross Ice Shelf. Habitations include Scott Base (NZ) and McMurdo Sound (USA).

The flag is the New Zealand national flag, but in a pale grey-blue, representing the Antarctic sky and sea, rather than the traditional dark blue. A white strip, representing the icecap itself, runs along the base of the flag.
